Emerald City

I've been reading Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (I know. I am a bit behind on my reading.) Seeing how the Pantone color of the year for 2013 is emerald green, I found this wickedly appropriate! Here are some of my picks for some wicked emerald green inspiration! Ok. I'll stop with the wicked. Wicked!

It is an intriguing book! I didn't care for the second one as much. Have you ever seen the show Wicked? I saw it in 2006 in Chicago with the original cast, Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenowith. AMAZING! I am actually going to see it in May with my 12 year old daughter. I can't wait to introduce her to this show! I love all your greens, especially that $99999.99 carved emerald stone. What would the Etsy fees be on that price? ;-) Enjoy the day! Erin

I have not seen the play and have had to look up quite a few word reading the book, some were made up which was frustrating! I am trying to imagine what the play must be like while reading and it doesn't seem to compute in my brain! I can imagine seeing Kristin Chenowith was amazing! Lucky girl! Enjoy seeing it again!

This is a lovely collection, Gaea. Everything you picked out is just beautiful! I especially love that little green crown and those delicate polymer butterfly wings- they definitely remind me of "Emerald City"! And of course your beads are gorgeous, too- love the ombre green!
